Yordanka Georgieva
My name is Yordanka Georgieva, and my journey in body movement began at the age of 6 when I started rhythmic gymnastics. For over a decade, I trained as an athlete with a team in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria, where I had the honor of winning various national competitions. At just 13 years old, I joined the Bulgarian national team, achieving remarkable success, including victories in two international competitions and a European championship.
After my competitive career, I transitioned into coaching, leading a rhythmic gymnastics team in Verona for 8 years. In 2008, while continuing my coaching journey, I pursued my passion for movement further by enrolling in a Pilates school in Milan. I graduated in 2009 and began teaching Pilates, focusing on personalized instruction. Two years later, I opened my own private studio, where I specialize in small group sessions of up to 5 people and individual lessons, fostering a supportive and engaging environment for my clients.
