Yoga Therapy for Neck & Shoulders

with Amy Sawyer

SATURDAY, APRIL 18
1:00 PM (90 min)
Price: $20

Neck and shoulder discomfort can arise from a variety of medical conditions and lifestyle factors, but it is often linked to habitual movement patterns (or a lack of movement) in daily life. Prolonged sitting, repetitive actions, and postural habits can gradually limit mobility and create unnecessary tension in this highly sensitive area.

In this lecture- and practice-based therapeutic workshop, we’ll explore the anatomy of the neck and shoulders through a yoga therapy lens, with an emphasis on alignment, posture, and mindful movement. Using accessible yoga postures, breath awareness, and therapeutic techniques, participants will learn practical tools to reduce strain, improve mobility, and support long-term comfort and resilience both on and off the mat.
